SUSAN J. SANDERS-YOUNG

Attorney Sanders is a native Californian and San Diegan.  She is a wife, mother of three adult children, and grandmother of three.  She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1996 and has been a member in good standing since that time.  She is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of California and the United States District Courts.  She is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the Ramona Bar Association, and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, and the Bankrutptcy Mediation Panel. Susan founded The Law Office of Susan J. Sanders in 1997, in Poway, California.  Susan was a resident of Poway for 8 years and currently resides in Rancho Bernardo.  She enjoys travel with her husband and two dogs.

Attorney Johnston became an associate attorney to our firm in 2003 and while he maintains his independent firm, working out of Alpine, California, he continues to partner with our office on may cases in his areas of emphasis, including personal injury and civil litigation.

REY CAGUIOA-GERVACIO

Attorney Gervacio is a husband and father of two children.  Rey became an associate attorney to our firm in 2005 and while he maintains his independent firm, working out of San Jose, California, he continues to partner with our office on may cases in his areas of emphasis, including estate planning and tax law.

RACHEL M. ALLUMS

Rachel is a native Californian and San Diegan.  She is a wife and mother of a preschooler and toddler.  Rachel received her private Paralegal Certificate and Notary Public Commission in 1996.  Since that time she has worked for various San Diego firms learning different areas of law.  Rachel has worked for the Law Office of Susan J. Sanders since 1998.  Rachel's current position in our firm is in the areas of estate planning preparation, post-death trust administration, probate, personal injury and civil litigation.  Rachel spends her free time with her husband and young kids.

LAINIE ZABRISKIE

Lainie is a native Californian.  She has been with us since Fall of 2005.  She is a resident of Ramona and previously pursued a career in teaching with a Bachelor's of Science in Liberal Studies, before being drawn to the field of law. Lainie attained her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her friends.

SHELLY R. BURK

Shelly is a native of Colorado and has been a San Diego transplant since 1979.  She is a wife and mother of two adult children.  Shelly has been working for the Law Office of Susan J. Sanders since 2003.  Shelly's primary focus is administration, however, she is often called upon to assist in other areas of our practice.  Shelly is an active member of her church and enjoys traveling with her family.
